The Formation And Evolution Of Ceramic Production Space In Shenhou Ancient Town

Relation with the Jun porcelain,Shenhou town has a special culture position in the history of Henan province,and even in China.There are a lot of research papers about Shenhou town,but rarely of them to study the old town from a holistic perspective.Shenhou town built its prosperity based on kiln industry,and the old town is named ‘living old town' just because the kiln industry had lasted for thousands of years till today.Objectively,the old town itself was a "culture relics" integrating folk customs,tradition cultures and ceramic processes.To learn about the history of this old vivid and polychrome town in this paper,I selected the view of history development process of the town.Among the many factors,the most worth studying is the unique relation between environment and town lie in the ceramics dependence with the geographical conditions,such as soil,water and fuel,are irreplaceable.Therefore,researching the role of ecological geographical environment longitudinal development history of Shenhou has an important cultural significance.Affected by complex factors such as productivity,production tools as well as cultural,political and economic aspects of social factors,the Shenhou's location,business development,space layout and planning in future consider or must think about the value of Xiao River in an active or passive way.From a certain point of view,Shenhou town is a result of the joint action by the environment,culture and political.In the different periods of history,the different elements will give the different effects on the old town's development,but the ceramic industry is the basic factor in the Shenhou town's space development,and we can find the deeply affecting traces in the old town today.At the same time,through researching the history and space formed and changed of the old town to understood the past times and prospect the future times of Shenhou old town.
