| "Chinese-Thai" is the only Chinese language teaching magazine in Thailand written in Chinese-Thai bilingual,with pinyin accompanied.The study takes "Chinese-Thai" in the past three years as the research object and mainly studies the column distribution and the content of "Chinese-Thai" magazine.It also investigates readers' using experience and satisfaction for the magazine.Firstly,through the content analysis and in-depth interview with the editorial department,the study reviewed the magazine's initial background,current status,column and content distribution,to understand the "Chinese-Thai" itself.Secondly,through the content analysis of the publications published from 2015 to 2017,the study discussed the concept and practice of "Chinese-Thai" publication,namely,'creating bilingual talents,' 'communicating Sino-Thai culture,' and'developing cooperation vision.' The study explained the effort“Chinese-Thai" had implementing its concept through the content,and in which part they have succeeded.Thirdly,a case study on the content of important columns was conducted.Fourthly,the auxiliary role of "Chinese-Thai" in the teaching of regular Chinese based on four aspects,including Chinese knowledge,Chinese communication skills,corpus supplements and extended learning,was analyzed.Finally,through the analysis of the Likert's scale questionnaire,the readers' use of the "Chinese-Thai" and their satisfaction with the magazine are discussed.The study explained,despite having not fully achieved to realize the concept of 'developing cooperation vision,' "Chinese-Thai" is not only in theory suitable as an extended teaching material,but the content meets the needs of readers.It satisfies many readers in practice and helps Chinese learners improve their Chinese proficiency and increase their knowledge of Chinese culture. |
