Research On Thai Chinese Education Model School Based On Database

Model Chinese Schools in Thailand were selected by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the PRC State Council,which have excellent quality and demonstration effect,and can provide enlightenment to other overseas Chinese schools.However,among the thesis about overseas Chinese education,there is no study on model overseas Chinese schools.Therefore,the basic information,the characteristics and influence factors of them and the enlightenment to other schools need to be researched and discussed in this thesisBased on the database of model overseas Chinese schools in Thailand and using statistic analysis,the thesis summarize the characteristics of all the model Chinese schools in Thailand to propose for other schools of Chinese education.The common points include theses schools started at some certain periods,have various curriculum and textbooks and regular teachers resources.The differences include different nature,curriculum provision,teaching arrangements and cultural activities.According to the characteristics,the thesis summarize their influence factors.The macro factors include policy on Chinese education in Thailand,the relationship between China and Thailand and support from overseas Chinese.The micro factors include the curriculum provision,teaching arrangement,teachers,textbooks and the cultural activities in these schools.Finally the thesis put forward the enlightenment to other schools.The non-model Chinese schools in Thailand should set various Chinese lessons and reasonable teaching hours,use suitable textbooks and improve the ways to build a teachers'team.Other overseas Chinese schools should edit textbooks suitable for their countries,build a good teachers' team and guarantee the continuity of Chinese education and avoid the repeatability of Chinese teaching.This thesis can explore the demonstration effect of the model Chinese schools and then enhance the teaching level of other Chinese schools,improve the development of the Chinese education and perfect the study on Chinese schools in Southeast.
