The Development Of Private Chinese Schools Of Northern Thailand

The Private Chinese schools in northern Thailand is regarded as the base for Chinese teaching overseas, a long-standing and continuously expanding institution, and has set the standard for many schools in northern Thailand as a model example of Chinese education development in Thailand. This paper is an investigation and research from many aspects of northern Thailand's Private Chinese schools, good teaching environment, and the abundance of students' extracurricular activities. Simultaneously, I also found that there were many existing problems; such as more complex source composition, local teachers becoming the main force of the faculty, but overall teachers lack the well-structured hierarchy, lack of innovation, lack of backbone, imperfect evaluation mechanism, unqualified teachers. Although they are very rich in Chinese teaching material, but most content of the textbooks is too broad, outdated, lack of applicability. The traditional teaching method is too old, lack of innovation; unclear student learning goals and objectives, lack of Chinese learning interest and motivation. Focusing on these problems, the author thinks that set up concrete adminstration mechanism, implementing an annual evaluation aimed towards the Chinese schools, improvement of Chinese Department construction management, further training of management personnel, drafting a development plan of Chinese development, adhere to the continuos management work; establishing a relatively stable of team of qualified teachers as soon as possible, the selection and standards of excellent teachers, the establishment of a Chinese Teaching & research demonstration team, and gradually formed characteristics of effective classroom teaching. I hope the study allows us to recognize the problems existing in the Private Chinese schools in northern Thailand Chinese teaching, and stepping up the improvement, to become valuable to the Chinese Schools in northern Thailand Private Chinese schools, and promote the development of the Thai-Chinese education.
