The Research On Bakhtin's Theory Of Text

Bakhtin is an outstanding thinker in Russia in the 20th century.His research field is very broad,covering linguistics,historical poetics,and psychoanalysis,and he builds a large and unique theoretical system,including his theory of philosophy,aesthetics and Poetics.Bakhtin's philosophical theory takes ethical philosophy as the core and he establishes a philosophy of the act based on the relationship between "I"and "the other" from the perspective of ethics.Bakhtin then establishes an aesthetic theory based on the category of "author and hero" from this philosophical theory.Besides,he puts forward his unique aesthetic theory by criticizing material aesthetics of Russian formalism.Bakhtin establishes his metalanguage theory by analyzing two trends of linguistics,including individualistic subjectivism and abstract objectivism.In addition,Bakhtin also focuses on the study of the theory of novels,and puts forward several important theories,such as polyphonic novel,chronotope and carnivalization.The theory of text of Bakhtin is formed in various aspects of Bakhtin's thoughts,and the theme of this paper is the research of this theory.The Text is the primary given of all disciplines of human sciences and of all thought in the human sciences and philosophy in general.Text is not just a literary work,and human behavior is also a potential text.Therefore,the object of the text theory in human sciences should not only be the language of linguistics and literary works,but also include broader fields such as act of people,culture,and life.The text is not a thing,not a monologue,and it co-ordinates content and form.It is not an accidental combination of materials.The text should acquire value and meaning in the great time,dialogue and evaluation with other texts.There is no absolute isolated text.Each utterance is always full of new ideas.We should not only understand the text from the solemnity of the official,and should not only look at the text from the perspective of subjective psychology,but should also combine the folk culture,the diverse voices and all-human character to understand the long-term nature of the text,the immortality of the people,and the rejuvenation of the culture.The text is constantly updated in its inheritance and development.This paper analyzes different angles of the text theory in the chronological order of Bakhtin's writing time basically,and puts these studies on a platform as far as possible,so that the theory of text is presented in the overall Bakhtin theory.The paper is divided into the following sections.Firstly,the current research status of Bakhtin's text theory and the research significance and research methods are discussed.Secondly,find out the manifestation of the origin text thought from the theory of Bakhtin's philosophical and the unique aesthetic theory and the theory of metalanguage.First of all,analyze the act as potential texts from the perspective of ethics and aesthetics,and then analyze the aesthetic categories of "author and hero" in literary works and the content and form of the text,and then do research on Bakhtin's metalanguage theory and its terms,such as utterance and speech genres to find out the connotation of text theory in this respect;Thirdly,analyze the connotation of text theory from the analysis of Bakhtin's poetics theory and specific works,including the style of works,the theory of polyphonic novel,the construction of chronotope and the study of carnivalization.Fourth,explore the significance of Bakhtin's text theory in Bakhtin's whole theory and research in the field of humanities,and extend it to practical view.This paper takes Bakhtin's theory of open and dialogic text as the main research subject,and explores Bakhtin's text theory from various aspects of Bakhtin's theory,including act of life,literary works,and cultural studies.The connotation and significance of this theory can be better understood from the background of his philosophy,aesthetics and poetics theory by tracing back to the source of his text theory and exploring relevant theories that influence Bakhtin's text theory.In addition,the overall theory of Bakhtin,at the same time,can be viewed from different perspectives.
