The modal auxiliaries is not only a grammar point that foreign students must master in the process of Chinese learning,but also a difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the results of previous researches,this article introduced the basic meanings of the verb Neng(能)、Hui(会)、Yao(要)and Keyi(可以)and compared the possible Neng(能)、Hui(会)、Keyi(可以)to indicate"ability,possible The similarities and differences between the three senses and the"permit",in terms of grammatical features,in addition to the analysis of the basic usage of the wishful verbs,also highlights the positive and negative use of the wishful verbs,the contingent use,the affirmative negative asymmetry,and the special sentence patterns.The positional relationship of verbs.Then,the statistical data collected from the questionnaire and the HSK dynamic composition corpora were used to collect statistics on the use of the verb Neng(能)、Hui(会)、Yao(要)and Keyi(可以)on the one hand,and statistics on the types of errors on the other hand.The results show that the willing verbHui(会)、Yao(要)belongs to a high frequency of use,and the rate of error is relatively high,followed by the wishful verbKeyi(可以).The proportion of mistypes from high to low is:mis-generation,mis-added,omission,mis-order,and other errors.Then,the theory of bias analysis and comparative analysis were used to analyze the error corpus.At the same time,the causes of errors were analyzed from the four aspects of negative transfer of mother tongue,negative transfer of target language knowledge,communication strategy,and teaching environment.The wishful verb proposes an effective teaching strategy.
