There are many adverbs of degree that are used frequently in modern Chinese.Because of their abstract meaning and flexible usage,these adverbs have always been a hot topic in the study of modern Chinese and are also the key and difficult points in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In the study of international students,“Hen”“Geng”and“Zui” as adverbs of degree that are frequently used and highly representative also cause great difficulties for foreign students,and there are some usage errors.Analyzing these errors also has high research value.This paper extracts the data from the BCC Chinese corpus(Corpus of HSK Dynamic composition),summarizes the types of errors,sets examination questions according to the specific language points,and composes a questionnaire.Taking the Indian medical students of Zhengzhou University as the research students.The object is to analyze the error situations that appear in the process of those students learning and using “Hen”“Geng”and“Zui”summarize the causes of errors,and put forward relevant teaching strategies and suggestions,hopefully these teaching strategies and suggestions would be helpful for the practical teaching of Chinese of “Hen”“Geng”and“Zui”.The first part of this paper is an introduction,first,introduce the reasons and significance of selected topics,and the relevant research background was introduced from the perspective of ontology and the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,then explain the research method in detail,point out the source of data and the innovation of this paper,finally,the related research theory is introduced;The first chapter briefly introduces “Hen”“Geng”and“Zui” from basic paraphrase and semantics,grammar and pragmatic features,and the basic usages of “Hen”“Geng” and“Zui” were compared and analyzed;The second chapter summarized the types of errors based on the corpus,analyzed the specific language points,displayed the questionnaire design and conducted data analysis,and specifically analyzed the errors in the individual usage of “Hen”“Geng”“Zui” and the confusions of the three;The third chapter focuses on errors of Indian medical students,and analyzes the causes of errors from the aspects of the media language,target language,communication strategy,learning objectives,learning environment and teaching materials;The fourth chapter proposes relevant teaching strategies and suggestions from the aspects of teachers,teaching materials,and learners for reference in teaching;The last chapter is the conclusion part,which summarizes the full paper.Explain the research results and point out the deficiencies of the paper.It highlights the typical errors of Indian medical students and shows relevant teaching strategies and suggestions,hopefully this teaching strategies and suggestions would be helpful for the teaching of degree adverbs in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
