Chinese punctuation marks are the symbols of auxiliary text recording language and play an important role in written language.At present,the domestic research on punctuation is mainly focused on ontology and comparative study,while the research on teaching Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is very limited.This paper takes the intermediate stage Malagasy students' homework and composition as the research object,supplemented by questionnaire research,and comprehensive intermediate stage Malagasy students at the use of punctuation.First of all,from the collected corpus,the author selects nearly 50,000 words of articles and ordinary homework as the research object,and established the corpus,and on this basis,statistics of the use of various punctuation marks in the composition of Malagasy students,as well as the form error rate,format error rate and functional error rate.Then,the corpus data was verified and enriched through questionnaire survey.Secondly,based on the latest “punctuation usage ”(GB / 15834-2011)in 2011,the author analyzed the various errors of punctuation marks used by intermediate stage Malagasy students.In addition,the author summarized the error characteristics of punctuation marks of intermediate stage Malagasy students: the phase of the Malagasy students use punctuation marks are concentrated,mainly in the use of commas and periods,the use of two punctuation marks accounts for more than 90%of the total use of punctuation;Punctuation is used in a single function,for example,at the end of a sentence that needs a period,and an exclamation mark is used.Punctuation is arbitrary and obvious errors,which mainly displays in written form and format errors,a comma in the same article has both the correct written form and the wrong written form.After that,the author describes and analyzes the errors in the use of punctuation marks of the intermediate stage of Malagasy students from three aspects: the form writing errors,the format writing errors and the functional usage errors.Based on these analyses,the author combines the objective and subjective factors,and discusses the causes of students' punctuation errors.Finally,combined with the actual teaching,this paper puts forward somesuggestions on the teaching of punctuation marks from the four aspects of teaching syllabus standards,teaching materials,teachers and students of Chinese as a foreign language,in order to provide some reference for the study of punctuation marks in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and promote the further development of the cause of Chinese international promotion.
