Study Of Jingxi Zhuang Brocade Culture From The Perspective Of Symbolic Anthropology

Zhuang brocade culture in Jingxi is the crystallization of diligence and wisdom of Jingxi Zhuang people.It has gone from the ancient society to the contemporary society and has gone through a long process of change.Jingxi Zhuang brocade cultural symbol has separated from the original context into a new one.It emerges some problems in a series of symbolic changes and then into a heritage dilemma.Based on the background of modernization,taking Jingxi Zhuang ethnic area as the research point,the purpose of this paper is to find out the problems existing in the development of its Zhuang brocade culture symbol and to put forward the reconstruction mechanism.This paper studies Jingxi Zhuang brocade culture by means of literature combing,field investigation and symbolic anthropology theory.It analyzes the effect of Jingxi natural and human environment on the development of Zhuang brocade culture.This paper probes into the different forms of the cultural symbols of Jingxi Zhuang brocade and its aesthetic value and symbolic significance.Meanwhile,it explores the inheritance path of Jingxi Zhuang brocade cultural symbols in folk activities from three paths of inheritance field,spatial displacement and functional displacement,and then to find out its inheritance dilemma.In addition,this paper demonstrates the necessity of the reconstruction of the cultural symbols of Jingxi Zhuang brocade in the new context and explores its reconstruction mechanism.Through the investigation and research on the inheritance and development of Jingxi Zhuang brocade culture,this paper draws the following conclusions : Jingxi Zhuang brocade deviates from the "original" context into the modern one.Many new factors on the Jingxi Zhuang brocade cultural symbol inheritance had a huge impact on it andmade it into the inheritance dilemma.It is the reconstruction mechanism of Jingxi Zhuang brocade culture to link up the traditional culture and modern culture rationally,to boost a benign development for cultural industry,to stimulate the community residents and the mainstream discourse to compete for the symbol power and finally to apply new media to carry out wider cultural dissemination.The reconstructed Jingxi Zhuang brocade will become the business card of Zhuang culture and even Guangxi culture : not only can it increase national self-confidence and cohesion,but it can also go out to compete with other cultures for market resources.Thereby it will be able to seek new vitality and take the road of sustainable cultural development.
