As one of the most representative of the 20 th century aesthetic schools,based on the methodology of phenomenological philosophy,phenomenology aesthetics tries to analyze the aesthetic activity from the perspective of the intentional relationship between the aesthetic subject and aesthetic object.This method can overcome the thinking pattern of binary opposition.Mikel Dufrenne is known as the master of phenomenological aesthetics for his "phenomenology of aesthetic experience".Therefore,the study of Dufrenne's theory of aesthetic experience,not only help us to fully appreciate the unique charm of phenomenologic aesthetic,but also provide a kind of research design about modern aesthetic issues for us.My purpose is to restore the essence of the original work,which is "the phenomenology of aesthetic experience".so,This thesis is composed of five chapters:The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the topic and the thought origin of the theory of Dufrenne's aesthetic experience.The second chapter explains Dufrenne's description of the process of aesthetic experience.The first stage is the presentation of sensuous which is the production of sensuous and presentation mutual action.Stage two involves reappearance and imagination,including what is " reappearance " and the role of imagination in the formation of aesthetic experience.In the three stage,the main task is to define the relationship between the expression of aesthetic object and the feeling of aesthetic consciousness.The three chapter is transcendental emotion,which deems transcendental emotion as the precondition for the occurrence of aesthetic experience.First,Dufrenne's views about transcendental is the obsorption and transformation of Kant's apiorisom.Unlike Kant,the transcendental is only regarded as the composition of the subject to the object.Dufrenne thinks that transcendental "not only represents the object but also represents the subject,and also indicates the relationship between them".Second,Dufrenne applied Kant's apriorisom to the aesthetic field and pointed out that "aesthetic experience is a real emotional transcendence".Dufrenne put forward two key concepts: "emotional trait" and "emotional category",to shows that emotional transcendence is the bridge of "communication" between aesthetic subject and object.The fourth chapter from the macro perspective,generalizing the features of Dufrenne's theory about aesthetic experience.Firstly,Dufrenne thinks aesthetic is a perceptual experience.Secondly,aesthetic object as a "quasi-subject",which is "in-itself-for-itself",it makes up intersubjective relationship with appreciator.Thirdly,aesthetic experience is not only related to daily experience but also beyond daily experience,which is a high-level experience of "revealing the most intimate and profound relationship between human beings and the world".The definition of the features will help us to grasp the aesthetic experience of Dufrenne and make an objective evaluation on this basis.The conclusion part gives an evaluation of the aesthetic experience theory of Dufrenne on the methodology of aesthetic research.
