To Appreciate As A Starting Point To See Dufrenne Aesthetic Thinking

Dufrenne is a grand master on the phenomenology aesthetics in France, his book "Aesthetical experience of phenomenal science" was known as the most comprehensive and perfect masterpiece in the phenomenology aesthetics field. The Dufrenne's expatiations about artistic works, aesthetic objects, and aesthetic consciousness were profound and creative, he utilized the phenomenal method "toward the things themselves Eidetic Intuition" to make the research "towards aesthetical appreciation of the object and wait it out." in the aesthetical experience. In Dufrenne's view, appreciator need more ability of works appreciating than artists, and therefore the research toward the appreciator's aesthetical experience became an important foundation for the establishment of his aesthetics system. This thesis intends to describe the Dufrenne's aesthetics from the point of appreciator view, and is divided into three chapters, eight sections, and amounts to forty thousand words.The introduction of my thesis summarizes the theory background which how Dufrenne start on the road of phenomenology aesthetics researching and the current research situation of China academia about Dufrenne's aesthetics ideas. The first chapter, appreciator and aesthetic object, mainly describe the relationship between appreciator and his aesthetic object. This chapter introduces the aesthetics factions who consider appreciator as the center at the beginning, then focuses on the describing of the aesthetic object which defined by the artistic works and its composition, and analyzes the role of the show of aesthetic objects one by one. This chapter is divided into three sections. Section one is divided into two subsections, the first part explains the distinction between the artistic works and aesthetic object, makes a detailed analysis on them, and profoundly defined aesthetic object: aesthetic object is artistic works which is felt aesthetically. As plastic arts as an example, the first part also describes the process of art works becomes aesthetic objects; second part discuss the significance of the performance world of aesthetic object, get the conclusion that aesthetic object is the sub-subject in itself and for itself.
