A Study On Visual Symbols In The Short Film "The Double Psychological"

The study of symbolic of western society have existed since ancient times,such as in ancient Rome,ancient Greek,philosopher Plato and Aristotle listed the symbol as a philosophical investigation object.Visual symbols are a branch of symbols,visual symbol as a communication tool,must bearing characteristics of the certain significance,and need to have cognitive interpretation function and the function of conveying information.If regard the works of art as a visual symbol or a collection of visual symbol,we may not see the full significance of a work at once,but at least we can close to the thoughts and emotions of creator,according to the rules of cultural visual symbols and their own culture as much as possible,which is also called a metaphor.By referring to the dictionary of the Modern Chinese Dictionary,the Dictionary of Modern Chinese Dictionary,the Ci Hai,the Dictionary of the Language,the metaphor is a kind of figure of speech,which is a kind of metaphor,also known as the implied.Which is under such that he suggested that perception experience imagination to understand talk about such things the psychological behavior of language behavior and cultural behavior As early as in the Greek period,there have been related studies on symbols and metaphors.In the contemporary era,some predecessors have begun to interpret metaphors from the perspective of cognition and the intrinsic and essential structural aspects of thinking.Metaphor has been regarded as a cognitive phenomenon and is widely used in the field of visual arts.Finally,it is of deep significance and value to introduce the metaphorical character of symbol into animation creation.Animation as a kind of visual art should be from the perspective of visual symbols and symbols of metaphorical study,and then on the connotation of highly improved and the enhancement,this is the momentum for the future development of animation.Therefore,this topic firstly combines the domestic and foreign classic animated short films,and deeply studies and analyzes how these animated short films can enrich the creative thinking and increase artistic expression through the metaphorical nature of symbols.The conclusion of the analysis is used as an argument for this subject.And then to formulate my graduation design in the animated short film "dual psychological" contains a visual symbol and metaphor,and a deep insight into how the theory as a thoughtful,experimental and exploratory animated short service.At the end of the project,I also summarized the other values of the animation visual symbol and provided a short case analysis.I think the metaphorical visual symbolization is eventually to be in the service of the creation of animation and performance and has the certain enlightenment and reference for animation production,to improve and develop the animation creation space has special value and significance.
