The Practice Of Metaphor In The Animated Short "Letter"

In the field of visual arts,such as painting,drama,film and other artistic expressions,human understanding of the real world is expressed through metaphor.Metaphor is at the heart of our interpretation of human understanding.Animation,as a highly hypothesized comprehensive visual art,should be analyzed from the perspective of metaphor in theoretical development to strengthen the artistic expression and cultural value of animation.This thesis takes the graduation project as a case,through the analysis of the films with metaphor characteristics in the way of expression,combined with the theoretical research related to metaphor,to explore the expression of metaphor in the creation of animated short films.First of all,through the visualization of metaphor,metaphor,metaphor and illustrates the relationship between semiotics and its related concepts,and then combined with drama,film and television works and the manifestation of metaphor in animated short analysis,from the theoretical level and film and television carried a practical level,provide theoretical guidance and reference for creation of animation short film.Finally,through the graduation design work of metaphor performance practice.
