Empathy as an individual’s ability to understand the emotional state of another person is particularly important in the development of a person.By reviewing previous studies,it is found that the level of empathy has a great influence on the individual’s social psychology and behavior.Offensive behavior is a behavior that often occurs among children and adolescents.As a part of adolescent groups,secondary vocational students are also excluded.This study tries to improve the empathy ability of the secondary vocational students through empathy training on the basis of domestic and foreign theories,and to verify the relationship between empathy and offensive behavior,and provide an effective way to prevent and reduce the aggressive behavior of secondary vocational students.The 489 students from a secondary vocational school in Jiangxi Province were studied using the “The Aggression Questionnaire” compiled by Jolliffe’s Basic Empathy Scale(BES)and Amold H.Buss and Mark Perry.After investigating the survey results,the survey attempted to use the empathy training method to intervene in offensive behaviors of secondary vocational students and formed the following conclusions:1.The survey results showed that the empathy ability of the secondary vocational students was in the middle-upper level.The empathy ability of the secondary vocational students was better overall,in terms of grade,gender,and whether There are significant differences among the only children,but the variables of grade,gender,and whether or not the only child have different differences in the two dimensions of empathy;the offensive average of the secondary vocational students is not high.The aggression and various dimensions of secondary vocational students differed in grade and gender variables,but there was no difference in whether they were the only child or not.2.After the empathy training intervention,the mean value of the empathy ability of the experimental group in the post-test of the experimental group was higher than that of the pretest mean score,and the difference was significant;the attacking meanof the test group in the post-test was lower than the pretest mean,and Significant difference.However,the difference between the control group and the control group was not significant.Practice shows that the offensive behavior of secondary vocational students is negatively correlated with the aggressor’s empathy.Through intervention of empathy training,the offensive behavior of secondary vocational students can be effectively reduced.
