A Report On Rules Of Beijing Municipality For The Implementation Of The Practices For The Supervision And Administration Of Medical Device Operation

With the rapid development of the global economy,the countries all over the world exchange more frequently in more fields,like medical industry.In China,some leading-edge manufacturing facility and technologies for medical devices have been introduced form other countries.The advanced medical devices can promote the development of medical industry,in addition,medical devices are special commodities which are closely related to our health and safety.To regulate the medical devices industry in our country and improve the quality of medical devices,many laws and regulations on medical devices have been issued.To introduce medical devices with better quality overseas,allow other countries recognize our medical devices,seek for better cooperation and develop more harmony relationships with other countries,the translation of laws and regulations on medical devices is of vital importance and has practical value.In this report,the author chooses Rules of Beijing Municipality for the Implementation of the Practices for the Supervision and Administration of Medical Device Operation,a translation practice translated independently by the author in August 2017,as the material,and completes this translation project and introduces the whole translation process in an around way under the guidance of the three-word principle of "faithfulness,expressiveness and closeness" put forward by Prof.Liu Zhongde,a translator and scholar in our country.Combining the translation theory with translation practice,this report analyzes deeply the difficulties in this translation project,such as the translation of medical terms,long sentences and non-subject sentences,and adopts many translation methods to solve the above-mentioned difficulties,namely,literal translation,amplification,functional shift,division,combination,change of voice.The author hopes that this translation report can offer some suggestions for the future translation of regulations and laws on medical services and at the same time improve the author's translation ability through this translation practice.
