One of the most effective ways to understand an education and a subject is to research its textbooks because textbooks form the basis,crystal,and logo of a discipline.(Wang Shunhong,1991).In recent years,more and more Japanese have been learning Chinese.With so many Chinese learners,Chinese textbooks are the most direct tool for learners to learn Chinese.It is necessary to write targeted Chinese textbooks for Japanese students.The thesis will compare the two sets of Chinese textbooks New Practical Chinese Reader(Japanese version),(Introduction level)and Zhong Ri Qiao Han Yu in phonetics,vocabulary,grammar,practice,text,and culture.The preparation of the teaching materials is based on the syllabus,etc.to make a comparative study of the teaching materials.At the same time,combining the above comparison results,the thesis uses the principles of the compilation of the two sets of textbooks as the criteria to examine New Practical Chinese Reader and Zhong Ri Qiao Han Yu;and then uses Liu Xi's principles for the preparation of textbooks for foreigners as the standard for the two sets of textbooks to give the comparative analysis.To sum up the above comparative research,some suggestions on Chinese textbooks for Japanese are proposed.
