Multicultural coexistence and communication are the reality of human society.English plays an important role as a communication tool included in the national curriculum of China's primary school.Intercultural communication awareness is also clearly listed as one of the course objectives of compulsory education English curriculum standard.Research on intercultural communication awareness in the field of pedagogy in China started relatively late,results less.Most research has focused on the cultivation of college English major students cross-cultural communication ability,few scholars pay attention to the cultivation of the consciousness.This study is based on the current elementary school,investigates the current situation of students' intercultural communication consciousness,reveals the reasons why students' intercultural communication consciousness is weak,and puts forward the training path of students' intercultural communication consciousness.In this study,self-compiled questionnaire was used to investigate the current situation of intercultural communication consciousness of primary school students,data analysis is carried out for the content of nine parts.It is found that the awareness of intercultural communication among primary school students is generally weak,there is a lack of understanding of cultural differences,and there is a lack of corresponding guidance in the study of thinking methods.Through face-to-face interviews with teachers and students,I got to know their views and attitudes towards intercultural communication and provided more supplementary materials for the questionnaire.At the same time,this paper applies the method of classroom observation and case analysis will bloom put forward six aspects of cognitive process and classroom practice match analysis,obtained by primary school English language teaching to cultivate students' consciousness of cross-cultural communication path.Students' intercultural communication consciousness is cultivated through language teaching at the primary school level,whether it is the learning of language knowledge itself or the understanding of the social,cultural and natural knowledge represented by language,it is a question worthy of study.Through this study,the author from the perspective of knowledge,emotion,consciousness of three dimensions,six levels of bloom cognitive process analysis,it is concluded that the following on the cultivation of intercultural communication path: 1.Expand cognitive;2.Support language expression with thinking method;3.Strengthen emotional experience;4.Adapt yourself to the other party and create a new communication paradigm.Through the above research,the author hopes to provide ideas and operable methods for increasing cultural understanding and realizing the humanistic nature of foreign language courses in the current language teaching of primary schools.
