The Study Of Calligraphy Culture In Zixing County,Hunan Province

The paper researches on the cultural resources of calligraphy in Zixing county,the profile of that area and the changes of its history through longitudinal study of history.Cultural resources in Zixing county include The First Monument to Farming in China,Series monuments of The Three Academies in Chengshui?and other calligraphic culture relics.The Three Academies in Chengshui contains Chengang Academy built by the family of Yuan,Guanlan Academy built by the family of Cao and Wen Feng Academy built by the family of Jiao,among which,Guanlan Academy has preserved the inscriptions of Yuan Dynasty,Ming Dynasty,Qing Dynasty,and the Republic of China.There was one champion and six scholars that graduated from Guanlan Academy,and they are all grace.The Three Academies in Chengshui has Qingtong Tongzhi four years Ngong Sheng sheng Yuan Zhenwen Wei Tang's essays"The Chengshui Academy" Xiaozhuo inscription;other calligraphic and cultural relics have preserved the good clouds cover Xianshi engraved inscriptions are from tomorrow to the year of Chongzhen,modem times.Mrs.Duan Tai's epitaph,from ancient times to the couplet plaque and so on.Social culture life of calligraphy in Zixing County consists of education,customs and activities of calligraphic culture.According to the investigation,the situation is good on Zixing'5 calligraphy.As for the education of calligraphic culture,schools have opened a writing class.However,the school still lacks a special calligraphy teacher.There are more than a dozen social calligraphic training institutions.At present,in Zixing,people's pursuit and love for calligraphy are unprecedentedly high.In Zixing,folk calligraphic culture has risen and developed by itself.Among them,the couplets culture is well inherited.It's very popular to write couplets in the Spring Festival.It's very common in Zixing that people are more willing to buy hand-written couplets of calligraphers.There are also two kinds of careers related to calligraphy in Zixing:Mr.Shike and Mr.Lisheng.Mr.Shike is responsible for hongxi(festive activities are conformably called hongxi),and Mr.Lisheng is responsible for funeral of the old.The same person can be a dual identity.There is also a couplet culture called couplets of bride sedan at the wedding reception which is a combination of traditional cultural customs and traditional calligraphy.In Zixing there are Association for Zixing Calligraphers,Association of Old Zixing Calligraphers,and many calligraphic groups for hobbies,from rural areas to enterprises and government agencies.In the countryside of Zixing,calligraphers are composed of cadets and waiters.With the deepening of urbanization,many traditional cultures in rural China are not valued,especially the traditional folk culture,which will face the crisis of loss and forgetfulness.In the situation,my paper has selected Cao Yu and Zhu Xiaoshi,local representatives of calligraphers who had strong influence,to conduct case studies.And they will dictate the history of Zixing calligraphy learners in their era.At present,there is a 5A class Dongjiang Lake tourist attraction in Zixing.Zixing's scenic spots are mostly natural landscapes,and other scenic spots are relatively scattered and unique.If we combine the calligraphy cultures and traditional culture on the basis of the natural landscape,the connotation of the scenic spots will be greatly enhanced.Zixing has strong-united associations of calligraphers,but the role it plays has nothing to do with the development trend of Associations of Calligraphers in Zixing.Therefore,it is necessary to step up the training of talents for calligraphy and to develop and protect existing cultural relics of calligraphy.Calligraphy can cultivate moral characters and improve the quality of life.The seniors and teachers who have a high level of calligraphy can greatly influence the growth of calligraphic talents.Geographical remoteness can save a very good calligraphic tradition.It is thought in modem society that writing traditional characters is better than writing simplified characters.That is a common illusion.To keep pace with the age and modernize calligraphy requires continuous initiation from the grass roots to relieve psychological barriers,guide calligraphic culture in counties and adapt to the reality of modem Chinese Characters regulations.
