| Chinese culture has a history of several thousand years,so the charm of the Chinese culture has been self-evident.To emphasize on the cultural teaching in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language can facilitate not only learners’ Chinese learning,but also teachers’ Chinese teaching activities.Teaching Chinese learners Chinese culture can promote Chinese learners’ perception of the Chinese culture,increase their interest in Chinese learning,improve their cross-cultural communication abilities,and enable Chinese learners learn Chinese more efficiently.Currently,international education of Chinese is still in the ascendant.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is no longer being just a language teaching activity,which has also been expected to deliver Chinese culture to foreigners.Images in Chinese poetry are objective existences carrying the Chinese cultural information,which allow poets and poetesses to give full expressions to their real feeling.This suggests the importance of poetry images towards Chinese learners’ understanding of the Chinese culture.But through a comparative analysis of current poetry textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and poetry textbooks in China,it can be observed that poetry textbooks which are divided by chapters are still lacking.Therefore,it is necessary and feasible to compile a poetry textbook that divides its chapters by images.According to current textbooks that teach Chinese as a foreign language,and combining relevant materials,a poetry textbook with images as the basis for chapter division is compiled for the cultural class.Before the compilation of this textbook,why the textbook is compiled,whom the textbook is applicable to,the nature of the textbook,and the basis for article selection are clarified.Relevant compilation principles are combined,and relevant compilation materials are prepared.At the same time,I shared the textbook with several other Chinese teachers,used the interview method to understand the use of the textbook,referred to its improvement suggestions and revised and reflected on my own use.To sum up,this paper adopts the compilation of poetry textbook for teaching Chinese as a foreign language as the research object,and divides the chapters of the selected poetry from the perspective of images.Meanwhile,relevant materials for textbook compilation are integrated via the media materials and literature analysis method.Case analysis is carried out to study the compilation status of textbooks which have already been applied to teaching activities.Following that,compilation of the whole textbook is assisted by analysis and induction,which can provide references for the compilation of poetry cultural textbooks from the image perspective.Generally,this paper consists of the following four sections.First,the important role of images in poetry Chinese cultural teaching is expounded.Second,the compilation status of poetry cultural textbooks used to teaching Chinese as a foreign language is introduced,and they are compared with the poetry cultural textbooks in China,at an attempt to point out the lack,references and development potential of poetry cultural textbooks from the image perspective.Third,compilation of poetry cultural textbooks from the image perspective is expounded.Fourth,the textbook compiled is displayed and put into practice,share the textbook with other Chinese teachers,investigate its use,and reflect on its use. |
