The Practical Study Of The Cultural Diplomacy Of The New China

After the end of the cold war,along with the pace of economic globalization and political multipolarization,the world is developing towards the direction of cultural diversification.With advanced information technology and developed mass media,cultural communication has reached unprecedented scale and level.In international exchanges,countries have turned their attention and focus to the field of culture from the economic and military fields,and put foreign cultural exchanges into the overall diplomatic cause of the country.What’s more,more and more countries have realized the leap from a diplomatic awareness to a cultural diplomatic practice.However,although most countries have practiced their own cultural diplomacy in different degrees,trying to achieve their own specific foreign strategic goals,the level of cultural diplomacy in various countries is different.Countries with strong national strength are often at a high level of communication advantage;countries with weak comprehensive national strength are at the low level of spreading weakness.Therefore,the level of cultural diplomacy practice of a country with strong national strength is also high,the country with weak national strength is not.As we all know,since the founding of new China in 1949,the comprehensive national strength of China has gone from weak to strength,and this improvement will continue.Then,in the process of the comprehensive national strength change,what kind of change has been experienced and what "level" has been achieved and which direction should be innovated of the cultural diplomacy in our country? These questions constitute the motivation of writing this article,and also the questions that this article is trying to answer.This paper is based on the logical sequence of "theory,practice,practice analysis and practice innovation",The first chapter defines the concept of "cultural diplomacy",and takes time as the axis to sort out and summarize the practice process of cultural diplomacy in New China.The second chapter analyzes the internal characteristics and external orientation of China’s cultural diplomacy practice.And from a dialectical perspective,it sums up the significance and shortcomings of our cultural diplomacy practice.The third chapter is the path innovation of China’s cultural diplomacy practice,and puts forward 5 specific measures for our country to better carry out cultural diplomacy.
