A Study On The Woodcarvings Of He'xi Area From Han Dynasty To Jin Dynasty

The object of this study is woodcarvings in He'xi region from Han dynasty to Jin dynasty.This woodcarvings not only the style is simple,realistic,unique,the conception is free and romatic,but also vividly reflects the communication between the central plain's culture,the southern Chu culture and the nomadic culture of the western region,it has important research valve.This paper selects this filed,to explore the woodcarvings in He'xi region from Han dynasty to Jin danasty and the social life situation reflected in it,and the situation of cultural exchange between China and the west.This paper is divided into four chapters.In chapter 1,the author sketch the historical wvolution of He'xi region from Han dynansy to Jin dynasty,and according to the published archaeological brief report,according to the site of come up of this woodcarvings divided into four Wuwei area,Zhangye area,Jiuquan area and Dunhuang area,and then briefly discuss this four area.In chapter 2,according to the different content of the woodcarvinig,it is divided into four categories:tomb figures,animal figures,daily-use tools,woodern picture,and then they are analyzed by typology.In chapter 3,the characteristics of woodcarving in He'xi region from Han dynansty to Jin dynasty are explored.In marking art,this woodcarving by seleceting,dehumidifying,dedcribing the shape,carving and painting finally;the subject is rich widely;In the form of expression,the animal figures mostly id woodern cows and hores,the breathinig of life is heavy.This woodcarving's subject and quantity,as time goes on,so does the change.In chapter 4,to explore the woodcarving's cultural factors.This woodcarving not only provide physical information for us to study the funearal system of political environment and social situation at that time.Moreover,it highlighes the communication and interation of the cultural plain's culture,southern Chu culture and the nomadic culture of the western region.The fusion of these culture is the distinctive festure of the excavated objects in the international corridor of the silk road.The innovation of this paper mainly lies in: One id the basis of the previous scholars of He'xi woodcarving,comprehensively collect the related and related historical materials,ets.For theHe'xi unearthed a large number of this woodcarving work the analysisi on the archaeological typology,and its production technology characteristics of artistic value foe the corresponding research.Two is systematically discussed the He'xi woodcarving of historical and cultural information,and through the contrast about the same time in other parts of woodcarving.The condition of the unraethed of He'xi woodcarving is located in the silk roadreflect culture of central plains and the southern Chu culture and the nomadic culture of the western regon's exchange situation carries on the analyis.
