A Contrastive Study On Russian And Chinese Military News Texts,From The Report On Syrian Crisis

The military news text is a branch of news texts,which belongs to the newspapers and political comment style,with the characteristics of using plenty of military terms,and reflecting the will of the state.Syrian Crisis has been one of the most influential events in the world since 2011,attracting extensive concern from the media worldwide.Currently,there are few research findings on Russian military news texts in domestic linguistic field.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study Russian and Chinese military news texts by taking the series report of Syrian Crisis as the example.The titles and traditional text structures of Russian and Chinese military news texts are studied by using the theoretical knowledge such as text linguistics,morphology,lexicology and rhetoric and the contrastive analysis.The title is the focus of the news contents,condensing the main contents of the whole report.A good title could add great beauty to the news.Words in the titles of Russian and Chinese military news have some common features such as accuracy,timeliness and economy.Rhetorical devices such as metaphor,metonymy,oxymoron and contrast,etc.are adopted.The text structure can be divided into three parts-the beginning,main body and conclusion.For the main body,the study on the textual cohesion techniques is attached greater importance.The common techniques are reproduction,reference cohesion,and substitution.According to the research,there are more common points than differences in both titles and structures of Russian and Chinese military news texts.The comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of Russian and Chinese military news texts helps to understand and grasp the main ideas of texts,to the news writing,and to improve the practical teaching of Russian language.
