Since the reform and opening up,China's comprehensive national strength is becoming stronger and stronger,so that people's material life level is also improving.Cities in China are also developing rapidly towards internationalization and modernization.However,some hidden instabilities is accompanied by huge economic benefits of the rapid development of urbanization.The similarity between cities and cities is getting higher and higher,which weakens the difference between cities.Chuzhou is in a national design upsurge,and it is always a reminder that Chuzhou must try to explore and findout the model suitable for the development of its own regional culture.But at the same time of China's urban development,the destruction of urban image has become a huge cost and high expense of urban development.Many cities blindly copies when exploring the construction of city characteristics,their geographical and cultural characteristics are keen to be careless with the so-called "features," antique street,or artificial landscape construction meaningless,the city style makes the city become neither fish nor fowl,and its historical culture,geographical features becoming gradually disappeared.For Chuzhou,as early as May 2016 that State Council approved in the file "Yangtze River Delta city group development plan",Chuzho will be included in the Yangtze river Delta Urban Agglomerations,so at the same time of facing the economic growth,it is also a challenge for Chuzhou that how to keep its own regional culture,and build a city image with abundant regional characteristics.Chuzhou is a historic city,the well-known historical masterpieces "Record of Zuiwengting" is the best help to explore Chuzhou culture.The purpose of this paper is to use the "Record of Zuiwengting" to creating visual works,then combining to the regional culture of Chuzhou,making Chuzhou to find a suitable geographical and cultural characteristics location,saving potential and cultural chips for the development of future city.The background,significance and purpose of the research is explained in the beginning of this article.The text firstly studied the concept of the regional culture of Chuzhou and the "Record of Zuiwengting" and the relationship between them.Then,find the literature visual case and carries on the analysis,the dissect focusing on two most significant ancient landscape paitings,the "Painting of Ode on Goddess Luo" and the "Painting of Record of Zuiwengting ",and finding out some experiences that are worth learning and summarizes the research methods of visual literary works.The key part of this paper is the refining and summarizing on the visual expression of" Record of Zuiwengting",and using the method of refining,taking Chuzhou as an example,through the design and research of "Record of Zuiwengting" illustration,combined with the regional culture of visual expression,create visual regional culture with Chuzhou characteristics.Facing the trend of accelerating modernization,the importance of the city's own regional culture is also increasingly prominent.In order not to be eliminated by the times,many cities are exploring the cultural foundation of their cities to highlight the city's regional cultural taste.But most of the cities have no goal,just blindly draw lessons from others,which makes the local culture of many cities disappeared gradually.Take Chuzhou as an example,The author proposes the visual image design model based on the regional culture literature such as "Record of Zuiwengting",and carry out a practical design,although it is only a preliminary research results,but I hope this mode which based on the regional culture literature of visual image of regional culture can provide reflection and reference for our city image design.
