The Error Analysis And Teaching Suggestion On The Use Of The Adjective Reduplication Of The Myanmar Students

Adjective Reduplication is a grammatical form which is existed in both the Burmese and Chinese language.The usage of the Adjective Reduplication in both languages describes the character of the things or person.This usage can make things or people more vivid,and sometimes this usage can also express the speaker's emotions,makes the expression of the language more colorful.Adjective Reduplication is a very important grammar in both languages.Although both languages have the usage of the Adjective Reduplication,the semantics and the grammatical functions are quite different.The first section of this article is an introduction and narrates the features of this article,the purpose and range of the research,the theoretical and current study,the methods of the research and sources of the words.The second section is a comparative analysis of Chinese and Burmese Adjective Reduplication.First,Analyze the semantic and grammar functions of Chinese Adjective Reduplication from 354 words.Then,the same way to analyze 323 Burmese“Adjective”.On the basic of these analyze,finding out the similarities and differences between Chinese and Burmese Adjective Reduplication.The third section is a survey and analysis of the errors of the Adjective Reduplication for Myanmar students.This part includes the range and purpose of the survey,the arrangement of the questionnaires and the result of the survey.The fourth section analyzes the types and causes of the errors of Adjective Reduplication of the Burmese students.The fifth section is the teaching suggestions about the textbook compilation,teaching method and the ways of the students' self-learning on the Adjective Reduplication for the Myanmar students.The sixth section as a conclusion summarizes the main points and results of this article and prospects of the whole article.
