The Study Of The Net-words In The 7th Edition Of The Modern Chinese Dictionary

Network words have been paid much attention and research from experts and scholars since its emergence that as one kind of vocabulary which is increasingly prosperous in the information age,the research on network words has became one of the important areas of linguistic researchers to explore especially with the popularization of the network communication platform.Therefore,it is necessary to make a in-depth and systematic research foe the network words.To this,we will take the "Xinhua Net Language dictionary" whose editor is Wang Lei which book is compiled under the "11~thh five-year plan" of the national language application and the Language Situation in China(2013-2016)which compiled by Language and Word Management Division of Ministry of Education as the source of corpus,then contrast to the "Modern Chinese dictionary" (7~thh edition)to determine how many Internet words are included in its.According to statistics,the Modern Chinese dictionary(7~thh edition)contains 213 online words,there are 194 Chinese internet words and 19letters network words.We will explore the language characteristics about the development and usage of the special vocabulary,and to research the generation mode of the meaning of the network words combined with the related theory of linguistics theory and lexicography and the connection between the general meaning and the internet meaning,and the deficiencies and prospects about the gist of receiving network words of the Modern Chinese dictionary.Thus improve the systematic research of network words and promote the detailed and generalization of the compilation of the Modern Chinese dictionary.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part of this article mainly combed and summarized the research achievements of predecessors,and on the basis of its research to discover the deficiency of previous studies and the areas that have not been studied,thus to conduct my research activities from the new research content.The first chapter is statistical research on the basis of the "internet words" of the7~thh edition of the modern Chinese dictionary.This part includes four sections,the first segment is to set up network words corpus by the comparison between net language dictionary of Xinhua(2012),the Language situation in China(2013-2016)and the modern Chinese dictionary.And on this basis,make a comparison between the receiving internet words,internet meaning and the version of the modern Chinese dictionary with the earliest time of the internet words and meaning in the People.cn,thus to observe the characteristics about receiving words of the modern Chinese dictionary.The second section is to explore the derivative mechanism from two research perspectives of traditional linguistics and cognitive linguistics,this paper argues that the internet words mainly through a variety ways include the metaphor,metonymy extended meanings and so on to derive new meanings and new usage.The third section is the diagnoses about the usage of the internet words on the basis of the corpus.Based on the searching function of the Peoples Network to make a statistical analysis about the actual usage of 194 Chinese network words,and observed the usage and characteristics of network words in text from the perspective of diachronic and synchronic.The fourth section is to explore the characteristics of network words from three angles of phonetics,semantics and grammar;the fifth section is to analysis the deficiencies about receiving words of the modern Chinese dictionary,it mainly includes the inconsistency in system implementation,inconsistency in interpretation update speed and inconsistency in lexical labeling.The second chapter is about the classification of the "Internet words" and the exploration of related problems.The first section is mainly talk about the definition of "network words" and the classification in different perspectives;The second section is make a comparative analysis between "network words" and the three related concepts about "new words" ," Chinese words" and" general network words" ,sequentially to lay the foundation for the further study of this subject.The third section includes two aspects,one is the analysis and explore the principles of receiving words on the theoretical basis of compiling principles and requirements of the modern Chinese dictionary,according to the actual situation of the words receiving of the modern Chinese dictionary to puts forward relevant views;The second is the comparative analysis of each edition of the modern Chinese dictionary and the book of the Language situation in China.The third chapter compares the five principles of the modern Chinese dictionary with the actual situation of receiving words.First of all,give a interpret to the content about the principles of receiving words,then make a comparison between the standard of receiving words and the actual situation of receiving words,to find the actual implementation about the standard of receiving words of the modern Chinese dictionary and the respective position and existing of its shortcomings of the standards.Afterwards,we will explore the reasons for the different growing period,thereby to make a bold prediction for the new word-collection of the modern Chinese dictionary of the eighth edition.The fourth chapter is the conclusion section,it mainly discusses the overall understanding about the inclusion of network words of the modern Chinese dictionary and existing shortcomings in the research process,and the future prospect of Internet words development.
