Yang Enshou's Poetry Research

In the late Qing Dynasty,Yang Enshou,a literary scholar,is famous for his opera theory and creation.However,his works are devoted to traditional literary creations such as operas.At the same time,many poetry and elegant literary works have been handed down,which can be described as "admiration and appreciation." Yang Enshou's thoughts,his life experience and his travels are very typical of the times when his country is experiencing drastic changes in the late Qing Dynasty.Yang Enshou's poetry creation is a true portrayal of the poet's life and reflects his ideological sentiment.The study of Yang Enshou's poetry creation helps us to understand the geographical(huxiang)style of the poet,the overall overview of the poets of the middle and lower levels in modern Hunan(the ideological outlook,living in the world,banquets,interest,etc.),and even to study modern Hunan.History,literature,culture and other fields.This article takes Yang Enshou's poetry writing as its research object,and mainly discusses it from three aspects: Firstly,it selects Yang Enshou's poems to record the bureaucratic battles,saves Western artifacts,examines the wind and people's livelihood,and sighs the world's theme.The Huxiang Scholars' Feelings Revealed in the Change of National Drama.The second is to explore the poet's life experience by making a great contribution to Yang Enshou's poetry.From this,we can understand the true state of the poet's career,and further understand the literary life of the late Qing Dynasty;we can also understand the general situation of the poet's career negotiation,the hardships and relief of the official candidate,travel experience,and experience modern times.The Living Conditions of Scholars in Lower and Middle Levels in Hunan Province Third,referring to Wang Enyun,Wang Xianqian,Yang Yuzhen,and other scholars' comments on Yang Enshou's poetry,and Yang Enshou's own poetry,summarizing the value pursuit of poetry in terms of artistic features:paying attention to his own temperament,especially in his narrative poems.Consistent with its wild temperament,poems are mostly generous and unrestrained;they are good at observing life,and they are common poets in common sentences.
