The motif of the Half-open Door(formerly known as "Women's Opening Diagram"),It is shown as a double door,with a leaf opening and a door closed,the doorman stood in the crack of the door and half of his body.This is one of the more common themes in China's tomb decoration art,born in the Han Dynasty,the Wei and Jin Dynasties disappeared,and the Tang Dynasty reappeared in people's vision,prevailing in the Song and Jin Dynasties.The Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty were the peak periods of the development of Half-open Door Images,Henan Province is the main political activity of the Song and Jin Dynasties,there are a large number of Half-open Door Images,and the Half-open Door in the tomb itself is very special and mysterious,as a space hinting symbol,the function of dividing and enlarging the chamber space,with other tomb ornaments,there is a depiction of everyday life.In Henan Province,there are 30 Song and Jin tombs with the Half-open Door Images,mainly concentrated in Luoyang,Xingyang,Dengfeng and other places.The image always maintains the two basic elements of the " doorman" and the "door",in the tomb,it is often located in the north wall.The image is different from other times,in terms of subject matter,except for individual images,the content is generally simple,the doorman can find similarities in movement and clothing.When the Half-open Door is combined with the surrounding tomb image,there are specific rules for location: Always occupying the main position in the tomb,and become the "guide" of the extended tomb space,make the chamber space more complete.The image is mostly in the form of a wooden structure that can make the largest reduction in real life,it reflects the influence of ground building on the tomb shape system,the production process accords with the style and characteristics of the folk craftsman at that time.At the same time,there are common aspects in the image composition of the Half-open Door map and the Half-open Door map of the other carrier in the Song and Jin tombs of Henan Province,there is also a close connection with folk stories and ethics in the Song Dynasty,behind it is the unique concept of funeral and burial in Song and Jin Dynasties.As an attractive theme of tomb decoration,the Half-open Door figure of Henan Song and Jin tombs is an attractive theme,once led the development direction of tomb decoration at that time,but when people's aesthetic perception changes,the original function and meaning of the image is no longer needed,its decline has also become an inevitable phenomenon.
