Study On Door Image In Brick Tomb Of Henan During Northern Song Dynasty

The Door image was early decorated in the overground buildings of the Han dynasty,first appeared in the tombs of the Five Dynasties,experienced a short period of death in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,flourished again in the Song,Liao and Jin Dynasties,and declined again in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,becoming the theme of decorative sculpture in daily life.Its artistic,symbolic and decorative features provide us with material object about the carving techniques and the burial beliefs at that time;As an obscure symbol of burial of burial in the tomb,it can be used to study the society's perception of death at that time: The soul return,corpse tranquility,the living were Blessed and their descendants multiplied.However,due to the lack of less academic attention to it in Henan,There are fewer systematic and comprehensive studies,so it is necessary to systematize the study of the door schema in the brick chamber tombs in Henan province,and investigate its significance by combining with the literature at that time.This paper discusses the naming of the schema,reviews the academic history of the naming of the schema in the past,analyzes the reasons and limitations of its emergence,and puts forward the concept of "soul gate" according to the concept of soul in the Song Dynasty,incorporating other doors in the tomb into a system for study.Through consulting the archaeological excavation reports in Henan in recent years,more than 90 cases of gate schema of more than 60 brick chamber tombs were selected to sort out their distribution rules in region and time,Using the method of archaeological typology to reveal its diachronic changes and classification within the system.Finally,combined with the relevant knowledge of art archaeology,this paper reveals the "role" played by this schema in tombs,According to the characteristics of the tomb and the Door imagine we can explores the status of the tomb and the ownership of the Door it,And then,through the analysis of the pattern on the door pattern to explore the desiregiven by people and the development of the sculpture industry.The innovation of this paper is reflected in two aspects: one is,to some extent,filling the blank of this kind of schema' s research in Henan;the other is to put forward my own views about the role and it's ownership,and the status of female:It belongs to the underworld,The purpose is to allow the soul of the tomb owner to reach another world.The door "refracts" around the tomb where the tomb owner is located.Through sorting out and studying the collected data,we find out the regional distribution and the stage characteristics of time development: The area is mainly concentrated in the Zheng and Luo regions.In addition,the marginal areas of Henan are also distributed,such as Anyang,Sanmenxia,Nan yang,Pingdingshan and other places.There are fewer discoveries in the Northern Song Dynasty,or related to the Yellow River flooding area where Kaifeng is located;Time shows the development of this schema : In the early stage,the structure of gate schema was relatively simple,with plain panel doors as the main components,but the details were insufficient,which reflected that the early gate schema only paid attention to shape similarity,In the midterm,the types of doors increased,the decorations began to increase,the characters began to appear,and the doors began to occupy the tomb walls on both sides of the tomb door.These changes were related to the improvement of the status of doors in tombs,and trying to imitate the scene before death.Later,signs of decline appeared,construction technology began to decline,door decoration tended to simplify.The technology of Door imagine tends to decline,but the good implied meaning of it is retained.he main ornaments are tortoise back,chinese character “Shou” and other religious patterns.This pattern is a kind of sustenance,which appears in the tomb is inspired by belief,has decorative effect,implies good wishes.
