Children's behavior problems not only affect their growth and socialization process, but also may lead to anti-social and illegal behaviors in adolescents and adulthood. Therefore, they have attracted widespread attention. However, there are few studies in poor mountain areas. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of child behavior problems in poor mountainous areas, analyze the effects of parental rearing styles and child temperament on behavioral problems, and the mechanism of action between the two factors. On this basis,we explore the prevention interventions programs applicable to preschool behavior problems in poor mountainous regions. In this study,230 children aged 2-3 years old in Qinba Mountain were randomly selected and tested for behavior problems using The Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist(CBCL).At the same time,The Basic Information Questionnaire,Parental Rearing Questionnaire,Family and Socio-cultural Environment Questionnaire,Toddler Temperament Scale(TTS)used to investigate influencing factors;Multiple linear regression model used to analyze the impact of factors between the mechanism. The specific results are as follows:(1)The abnormal detection rate of children's behavioral problems was 27.83%,and the test scores were significantly higher than the urban norm level;(2)Gender analysis found that the detection rate of boys showed a trend higher than that of girls;boys scored significantly higher than girls in attacks, destructive behaviors, and externalization factors;family type analysis found that: The total score of children's behavior problems of the big family is significantly higher than that of the nuclear family;(3)The analysis of parental rearing patterns found that the four parenting styles, including indulgence, indifference, autocracy, and inconsistency, were positively correlated with six behavioral factors, internalization, externalization, and total scores. There was a significant negative correlation between autocracy and social withdrawal and aggressive behavior;autocracy and inconsistency in parental rearing had a positive predictive effect on the total score of children's behavioral problems, with an explanatory power of 20%;and various behavioral factors for children in the socioculture bad group were significantly higher than the good group;(4)Temperament analysis found that the activity, reaction intensity, degree of avoidance and behavioral problems were significantly positively correlated, and the emotional essence, reaction threshold, attention dispersiveness and behavioral problems were significantly negatively correlated;response intensity, degree of avoidance, response threshold, emotion essence has a certain predictive effect on the total score of children's behavior problems, with an explanatory power of 22%.(5)The research on the influence mechanism of parental rearing style and temperament found that the reaction intensity of temperament positively regulates the influence of autocratic rearing style on behavior problems. The intervention measures proposed for this purpose include: Early prevention of child behavior problems in poor mountainous areas should enhance family education and social and cultural environment, strengthen child care quality management, and use intervention programs such as group games that are feasible in the local area.To further implement these programs, the authors of this paper have designed some group games that are feasible in poor mountain areas.
