English Test Anxiety is the most important factor which can influence the English learning and the English grades,so it always have been in the eyes of scholars.This essay is to study the relationship between the English Test Anxiety and English grades,the influence factors and the individual varieties of the test anxiety change by comparing the English quiz and the mid-term examination,in order to improve the educator's attention to English Test Anxiety and help the learners to reduce English Test Anxiety by providing theory basis.The senior high school students from each grade in Chongqing Yu Cai middle school are randomly selected as the research objects.The data of the English Test Anxiety after taking the English quiz and the mid-term examination are collected by using the English Test Anxiety self-assessment scale which is made by the writer.At the same time,the English test scores are kept.The collected data were recorded into SPSS19.0 for data analysis.The test anxiety change of these two English tests is compared by using the paired-samples T analysis.Stepwise regression analysis helps to find out the influence factors,and the Pearson correlation coefficient helps to investigate the relationship between the English Test Anxiety and the English grades.The independent –sample T analysis is supposed to research the individual varieties of English Test Anxiety change.The result comes as follows: Firstly,both the English Test Anxiety and the English Test Anxiety Symptom Factors is higher than those of English quiz,but the increasing of emotional reflection symptoms factor and thinking withholding symptom factor is greater than physical symptoms factor and test-taking psychological factor.Secondly,the crucial influence factor on the English Test Anxiety is "worrying about the evaluation of others" and the incidental influence factor is "self-evaluation".Thirdly,there is the significantly negative correlation between the English Test Anxiety and English grades.Fourthly,there is no significantly difference between the male and female of the English Test Anxiety Level and the English Test Anxiety symptom factors.Fifthly,English Test Anxiety Level and test-taking psychological factor of rural students is higher than town students,but the other three English Test Anxiety symptom factors have no significant difference.Sixthly,the change of the English Test Anxiety Level,physical symptom factor and emotional reflection symptoms factor in Grade Two is greater than Grade1 and Grade3,but the thinking withholding symptoms factor of Grade3 is at least.The test-taking psychological factor has no significant among three grades.
