| The pattern has been established as a design department and gradually evolved into the pattern education theory since the Qing government enacted the "Guimao school system." The establishment of pattern department has a significant influence on the birth of design education after several reforms.Especially since the reform and opening-up,the development of politics,economics,and culture of China has provided a broad platform and extensive space to the education system of design in the new era of China.The paper states the original form of pattern and the establishment of the education system of pattern and especially studies the people and their education theory which has a significant influence on the education of design in China.It analyzes how to integrate the pattern with practical experience in China,how to conform demands of that times,and finally how to make development and evolvement.From the aspects of elementary education and higher education,the paper interprets the current development of the design education system in China,and analysis the advantage of the design education system in anticipation of the industry development prospects,demands for talents,and the technology development.It states that the design education is of vital importance to China education system,and points out the shortcomings on developments of elementary education and higher education.By comparing the trends of design education of China,the paper presents that the education of design should combine with the time background of the new era and new technology.Using methods of the pattern for reference makes a combination of pattern,new media technology,and the subject of art and design.This combination will accelerate rapid development of design education of China,adapt requirements of social development,fit in with aestheticism standards of people,promote the construction and development of the design subject,and enhance the international influence and competitiveness of the subject. |
