A Practice Report On The Russian Translation Of Higher Engineering Education Research Literature

With the ongoing deepening of scientific and technological exchanges between China and Russia,the scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries has been enhanced,especially in the field of higher engineering education,therefore the author has chosen the translation of "Three Important Propositions of Engineering Education Research","Thoughts on the Cultivation of Advanced Engineering and Technical Talents" and "A Look at Chinese Higher Education for 30 Years from the Development of Biomedical Engineering Discipline" as the focus of the practice report.Higher engineering education research literature is a typical scientific language.In the process of translation,the author firmly grasps the characteristics of the Chinese and Russian language science styles,follows the laws of scientific translation,and forms a certain translation understanding through the translation proofreading and post-translation thinking of the three articles.The main part of the practice report analyzes the translation of Chinese unique vocabulary and Chinese-Russian sentence patterns.The vocabulary section studies four-character idioms and terms with Chinese characteristics.The syntactic section discusses the processing of sentence patterns and sentence sequences as well as the adjustment of the sentence and the separation of sentences.The practical report carefully summarises the experience and lessons of this translation activity with a view to providing reference for future researchers and translators.
