Research On The Missionary Activities Of Shin Buddhism In The Northeast Of China During The Modern Times (1894-1945)

In modern times,the history of political,economic and cultural development in northeastern China was forced under the aggression of imperialist powers.To some extent,the history of modern Northeast China is the history of the invasion of the Northeast by the imperialist powers.The process of political crushing and economic plunder by the imperialist powers to the northeast region is often accompanied by the spread of religions of their respective countries in northeastern China.From the beginning of the Sino-Japanese Sino-Japanese War in 1894 to the defeat and surrender of Japan in 1945,the degree of Japanese imperialism's aggressiveness toward Northeast China has continuously deepened.During this period,Japanese religions,like other imperialist powers,came to Northeast China in the name of Buddhism.Among the Japanese religious organizations engaged in religious activities in northeastern China,the East and West schools of Buddhism in the Pure Buddhist Shintoji Temple of Japan are the most representative.In order to comprehensively reveal the actual state,nature,and influence of the evangelical monks' missions in Northeast China,this article attempts to discuss this issue from both macroscopic and microscopic perspectives.This paper attempts to reveal the actual state,essence and influence of the missionary work of Shin Buddhism in the northeast of China from the perspective of macro and micro.At the macro level,firstly,this paper is based on the relevant information and data of related research at home and abroad to visually present the development status of the missionary institutions from 1901 to 1945 by data analysis method.On the basis of this,this paper analyzes and discusses the historical background and influential factors in different stages of development status.Secondly,the paper uses the method of historical data analysis to carry out a basic inquiry into the management and maintenance of its distribution institutions,types and functions of the affiliated institutions.At the micro level,this paper uses the special doctrine of the Shin Buddhism in the specific historical period as basement to analyze actual feedback of the groups of missionary objects,which includes Japanese soldiers,Japanese emigrants and Chinese people.In the end,this paper hopes to combine the above findings with the evaluation of the characteristics and influence of the Hongan Temple Missionary Movement in Northeast China.The war of aggression launched by Japanese militarists against China has not only brought profound disasters to Chinese military and civilians,but has also caused the Japanese people's lives to fall into dislocation,and their ambition to conquer China,dominate Asia,and conquer the world has finally come to an end.In the great victory of the world anti-fascist war,it died down.From this we can see that the war of unrighteousness will surely accept the most just judgment in history.For the Honganji Temple,which hopes to use Japan's overseas colonial expansion to expand its living space,its guilt as the accomplice of Japanese imperialism's aggression against China is irrefutable.In the end,with the total failure of Japanese militarism,the efforts of the Hongnianji Order in the northeastern region of China for 50 years have also evaporated.The practice of history has proven that all cultures and ideologies that are attempted to impose on human beings through powerful means are water without roots and water without source.It will eventually be a dream and an empty talk,and will inevitably fail.
