An Analysis Of Regional Features Of Chinese Overseas Textbooks

With the continuous development of China-Europe relations,the amount of people learning Chinese in Europe is growing.The requirements for Chinese textbooks become higher and higher.The paper takes Chinese regional teaching materials Chinese Overseas Textbook which were written for European college students for research objects.The paper analyzes the characteristics of the textbooks in vocabulary,texts and exercise settings.It also makes contrasts between domestic Chinese universal textbooks Road To Success and Chinese regional teaching materials Chinese Overseas textbook in vocabulary,texts and exercise settings.It makes an evaluation of Chinese Overseas Textbook.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the compilation of regional textbooks.The theory is separated into five chapters.The first chapter summarizes some reasons for choosing the topic,researching meanings,subjects,statuses and methods.It separately analyzes the regional characteristics of the textbook in vocabulary,texts and exercise settings in the second chapter and third chapter.The fourth chapter analyzes the writing characteristics of Chinese Overseas Textbook,by making comparisons on vocabulary,texts and exercises between primary domestic Chinese universal textbooks Road To Success and Chinese regional teaching materials Chinese Overseas Textbook to highlight the characteristics of the latter.The fifth chapter puts forward some suggestions on the compilation of the regional teaching materials.
