The Study On Modal Adverbs Of Liangshi Dialects In Qidong County

Many studies have been done on the modal adverbs of modern Chinese,but research on dialect are relatively less.Based on Qidong liangshi dialect and its language facts,this paper sums up a relatively complete system of Qidong liangshi modal adverb.And according to the semantic standard,Qidong liangshi dialectal modal adverbs are classified and divided into five categories,including certain,inference,will,emotional and evaluation.Besides,some analysis and discussion have been carried on the twelve modal adverbs from three aspects—form,syntactic and pragmatic.It aims to explore overall basic situation and characteristics about dialectal modal adverbs.In addition,for some modal adverbs,I specially compare them with the mandarin and some other dialect,aiming to deeply study modal adverbs of Qidong liangshi dialect.The article is divided into five parts,involved all aspects of the modal adverbs.The first part:the introduction part.First the thesis describes the geographic location of Qidong liangshi county and introduces Qidong liangshi dialect.and then introduced the present research of modal adverbs,including contemporary Chinese language and Qidong liangshi dialect research status.After that,it discussed the phonology system of Qidong liangshi dialect.Finally it elaborates the research theory,research method,the style,and the sources of corpus about this paper.The second part:the modal adverb system and classification of Qidong liangshi dialect.First,sort out the Qidong liangshi dialect modal adverb system,then make detailed semantic description on the 12 modal adverbs according to the classification.And at last,this paper explains the characteristics of forms,syntax and pragmatic of the five modal adverbs.The third part:modal adverb’s collocation and co-occurrence of Qidong liangshi dialect.This part focused on analyzing all kinds of modal adverb’s collocation and co-occurrence.In addition,it mainly make analysis from collocation and co-occurrence with its internal modal adverbs,other modal adverbs and other adverbs.Based on the above analysis,this paper came to a conclusion about the characteristics of Qidong liangshi dialect’s modal adverbs.that is to say,it usually appears in front of the other adverbs when the five kinds of modal adverbs can be used in succession with other adverbs,and it can be generally used with other adverbs.This conforms to the yisheng Zhang’s point of view.What’s more,it also analyzed the internal co-occurrence of the five modal adverbs.The fourth part:the characteristics of Qidong liangshi dialect’s modal adverb.This section make a simple summary of the characteristics of Qidong liangshi dialect’s modal adverb,summarizing the forms,syntax and pragmatics features,it reflect the characteristics of Qidong liangshi dialect’s modal adverb.The fifth part:this paper’s conclusion.It is mainly review and roughly comb the main content of this article,and lists some innovation points,certain shortcomings and the existing problems of this paper.
