An Study On The Learning Thought Of Lu Jiuyuan

Lu Jiuyuan,as a famous philosopher of the Southern Song Dynasty,had inherited and developed Cheng Hao's ideology on the basis of assimilation of the Pre-Qin Confucianism.Besides,he was the one who inaugurated the Heart-mind Theory.Academics has analyzed and discussed about his theory on multiple aspects so there were a great deal of research achievements.Scholars analyzed his "Learning Methods " at an educational point of view while seldom of them took the philosophical perspective to comprehend it.Based on this background,this article is going to analyze Lu's thoughts from the angle of "Learning" and hopes to research his philosophy from various angles with the purpose of getting another interpretation of it.This paper mainly content is divided into three chapters.The first part does a particular arrangment about the "Learning Thought" of confucius living before the Song Dynasty and a historical retrospect of Lu's Heart-mind Theory.The emphasis is Confucius and Menci's study thought.The second part firstly talks over the purpose of study which is to become a saint.Than analyzes the philosophy basis of Lu's "Learning Thought" and discusses his ontology thought that is " Heart is Rule".After that,with the order of " Determination,Culture and Reading",the paper discusses his self-improvement methods which are "Based on its big" and "Inventive heart" and his reading methods that is "Predicate exploration,in-depth experience".He had explored the realm that can be attained by learning as well.In the end,the paper makes a thorough inquiry over the state of learning.The third chapter takes its historical influence and practical significance as the breakthrough point,contrasts and analyzes study methods of the ancients and the present after Lu.Thus rethinking the viewpoint of today's academic community in order to achieve the goal of combining with reality.
