This paper makes an acoustic analysis in the aspect of tone pitch and tone pattern of Chinese level of primary stage of Sudanese students through the method of experimental phonetics. The results compare with the standard Mandarin tones of Chinese students, thus finding errors of Sudanese students' tones and analysing the reason and put forward the corresponding teaching strategies. The full paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction, introduces the experimental design and method, discusses the reason of the topic, the research route, the principal innovation and the significance of the research topic. The second part is the analysis of the Sudanese students' monosyllabic tone, including tone pitch and tone pattern.Firstly,we find out that their Yinping tone range is very low;Secondly, they mix Yangping tone with Shangsheng tone;Thirdly, their Shangsheng tone is defective; Finally, their Qusheng present “arch” features. The third part is the analysis of the Sudanese students' dual tone.We find out that Yangping tone and Shangsheng tone are still the most difficult tone combinations and is the key and difficult point for Sudanese students to learn the Chinese tone. The fourth part analyses five reasons of the errors of tones and puts forward some corresponding teaching strategies. The last part is the conclusion, including the overall conclusions and deficiencies.
