Yang Qing is one of the famous contemporary composers in China.His works have their own specific musical language and processing solutions.Foreign media commented that:“He wielded the elements of Chinese folk songs and also absorbed the characteristics of Bartok.Alternating between single instrumentals and the full ensemble,Yang's Scenes revealed a gifted orchestrator's ability to frame individual timbres and nuances to great effect.This paper selects three representative national orchestral music pieces created during the mature period of Yang Qing's composition,namely Cang,Rain·Bamboo and Rivers Xiao and Xiang.It starts from their creation backgrounds as well as the title circumstances and analyzes its creation language and try to explore the composer's peculiar processing solution to instrumental technique.In Chapter one,this paper generally sketches the composer and his creation in order to comprehend the composer's creation style and feature which provides background information to the analysis of these three pieces of music.In Chapter two,this paper analyzes the work of Cang.It explains the wielding of Hunan folk songs materials and the musical theme features and development patterns in this work.A systematic analysis of the art of line processing in vertical multisound structures was conducted and the overall structure and timbre sound processing were summarized in this paper.In Chapter three,it analyzes the work of Rain·Bamboo and expounds the diversified adjustments of the band as well as the dual personalities theme features and development.It studies on the use of "point,line and surface" thinking employed in the work.Finally,it summarizes the cultural meaning of the work and the artistic conception of the blending of poetry and painting.In Chapter four,it analyzes the work of Rivers Xiao and Xiang by describing the pitch relationship and its timbre distribution in the work and summing up the form of the texture and acoustic treatment.Finally,this Chapter summarizes the overall structure of the work.With multi-angle analyses that mentioned above of these three national orchestral musical works,this paper attempts to compare,analyze and interpret the unique features of musical style and instrumental technique of Yang Qing.
