John lesley "wes" Montgomery(March 6,1923--June 15,1968)was an American jazz guitarist.He is widely regarded as one of the most important jazz guitarists,and he has influenced countless people after heavyweights such as reinhart and Charlie cristin.Montgomery was known for his unusual skill,which was to use his thumb to pluck strings,which gave him a unique voice.Since 1959,Montgomery has been signed to a riverside record company.[FOUR 6]-(FOUR ON SIX)is by THE jazz guitarist WES MONTGOMERY(WES MONTGOMERY)in January 1960,included in THE album-(WES.MONTGOMERY's artistic)-(THE ARTISTRY OF WES MONTGOMERY).It was a quartet composed of the pianist TOMMY FLANAGAN,PERCY HEATN and the drummer ALBERT "TOOTIE" HEATH.This album is the most characteristic is wes.Montgomery's most famous two songs "FOUR 6"(FOUR ON SIX)and the "WEST COAST" Bruce(WEST squadron BLUES),its style belongs to the fast swing in jazz.This article through to(FOUR ON SIX),the background harmonic choreography,impromptu law,all aspects of the comprehensive analysis to explore the jazz guitarist wes.Montgomery unique techniques of performance.
