Research On The Transformation And Activation Practice Of Dunhuang Frescoes' Artistic Function

The Dunhuang frescoes are gems of ancient Chinese art.The ancient folk artists have absorbed and assimilated the expression techniques of foreign cultures and religious arts on the basis of inheriting the arts of the Han Nationality and the Western Regions.They have evolved into traditional arts with distinctive Dunhuang styles.In Chinese history,the Northern Wei Dynasty was a special historical period.The integration of the northern peoples enabled the cultures of the various ethnic groups to blend with each other.The frescoes of the Northern Wei Dynasty reflected the integration of foreign arts and local cultures to create unique features.In recent years,the development of Dunhuang art and culture in China has gradually evolved from recognition to practice,and has gradually influenced the shape of society.If we are able to influence and make a difference in the implementation of artistic functions,we can eventually allow Dunhuang culture and Chinese folk art and traditional culture to spread throughout the classroom and society.Therefore,this paper selects the Dunhuang frescoes Jataka paintings of the Northern Wei period "Jataka mural of Deer King" which in No.Cave 257 of Mogao Grottoes as a study object.It comprehensively and systematically studies the background of the story,narrative techniques,artistic style and other elements.It conducts a comprehensive and systematic study of the story background,narrative techniques,and artistic style.And,detailed analysis of the artistic function and the transformation of artistic function it produced.We gradually explored a series of practical methods from the viewpoint of exhibition communication,educational practice,and cultural creativity.On the basis of inheriting the existing theoretical research results and the current situation of art education development,a more realistic way of practice is built.
