Albert Camus was a French writer, dramatist, and social activist who enjoyed world fame after the Second World War.The situation of his plays has distinctive features and functions, which makes his drama unique.Likewise,Camus' “Modern Tragedy” theory complements and explores traditional theatrical theories. He devoted a great deal of passion to theatre art in his short but glorious life. And he moved closer to his tragedy ideals in the stage practice.Situation settings make his drama uniquely attractive.Reorganizing and summarizing the situation of his plays helps us to understand the creative intentions of Camus and his philosophical structure. It is also an important part of Camus' study to understand the unique artistic charm and appeal of his drama. The study on Camus mainly focuses on his novels and philosophical thoughts in China. In the limited research on his drama, researchers often start from the perspective of literary criticism and make a general analysis of the philosophical speculation, character images, and aesthetic features of the classic drama. At present, there are no monographs or dissertations devoted to the study of the scenes of the augmented drama.Part of the study focused on the translation and introduction of works by his fiction and drama, the monograph on the study of the philosophical thoughts of Camus, and other essays on coronations. There is a lack of comprehensive analysis and generalization of the situation of Camus' drama. These leaves a certain space for the author's research. This article attempts to study Camus' drama with the theory of situation of play from the perspective of scenario creation. The structure is divided into five parts. The introduction includes the original ideas, significance, methods and goals of the topic, and a review of the study of Camus' drama. The second part discusses the drama and context of Camus' dramatization under the influence of life experience and traditional drama. The third part seeks the characteristics of the situation in Camus' drama from the perspective of events,space-time environment and character relations. The fourth part specifically analyzes the effects and defects of the situation in Camus' drama. The fifth part is the conclusion. The problems to be solved in this article are: what are the characteristics of the situation presented by Camus' drama, and to what extent did he realize his "Modern Tragedy" theory, and then to explore the bright spots and flaws of the situation in Camus' drama by comparing.
