Study On The Scope Adverb Of "Qi Lu Deng"

This article takes the Qing Dynasty Vernacular Novel "Qi Lu Deng" as the research corpus,and takes the scope adverbs in the book as the research object.According to the established theoretical principles and criteria,the scope adverbs in the book are searched exhaustively,and the grammatical and semantic features in the book are faithfully depicted and analyzed.It is found that there are 104 scope adverbs in "Qi Lu Deng",of which 61 members denote meaning of collectivity,35 members represents limit definition,4 members represents class synonymy,and 4 members represents statistical meaning.They consist of 51 monosyllabic words and 53 disyllabic words.Grammatical distribution mainly occurs before the predicate as adverbial;on the semantic direction,there are real fingers and empty fingers.On the whole,the scope adverb of the "Qi Lu Deng",The old words that have been produced for a long time are the majority of its members,and the number of the double syllable is more than the monosyllabic member.On the one hand,it confirms the strong inheritance and closeness of the adverb system,on the other hand the number of the syllables of the different "age" members also reflects the the developing trend of the two syllables.According to the classification of different types of scope adverbs,there are 2361 cases for the scope adverbs indicating the general meaning,3296 cases for the scope adverbs defined by the limits,and 949 cases for the scope adverbs of the synonyms,the scope adverbs representing statistical meaning consists of 67 cases.As a group of 104 scope adverbs,97 words can modify the VP,26 words can modify the AP,20 words can modify the NP,11 words can modify the NumP,5 words can modify PronP,10 words can modify the PreP,9 words can modify the S.
