Response Inhibition Characteristics Under The Clue Of Problematic Mobile Phone Users

With the development of network technology and the popularity of mobile phones,mobile phones have been incorporated into daily life as an exmobileent carrier for the development of the Internet,and this has led to the problem of mobile phone addiction.The academic community has conducted a variety of researches on the performance characteristics of mobile phone addiction,and it is agreed that the inhibitory control deficits of problemtic mobile phone use are the main factors causing its addiction.However,there are relatively few experimental measurements of behavioral inhibitory defects in problemtic mobile phone use,and events that require suppression control in the real world often have prompt clues before response,and the response of different clues to mobile addicts is inhibited.The effects are different.In addition,whether problemtic mobile phone use can effectively activate and maintain them during the reaction also needs to be further explored in experiments.Therefore,this study uses a threaded Go/NoGo experiment to explore the response inhibition characteristics of mobile addicts.This study may play an important role in improving problemtic mobile phone use ’ ability to respond to depression and withdrawal treatment for mobile phone addiction.In study 1,we examined the presence of inhibitory control defects in mobile addicts through Barratt’s impulsive questionnaire.The results show that mobile addicts are significantly higher than the normal population in unplanned impulsivity,cognitive impulse,athletic impulse and overall impulse,because the individual impulse is based on inhibition control,so the study consistently verified Problemtic mobile phone use have impetuosity suppression deficiencies.In study 2,we used the cued-Go/NoGo experiment,2(group:problemtic mobile phone use group vs.normal group)x 2(cue validity:valid cue vs.invalid cue)x 2(cue image type:mobile phone related picture vs Neutral pictures)the three-factor hybrid design,the results found mainly include four aspects:a.problemtic mobile phone use in the reaction inhibition rate was significantly lower than the normal test subjects,indicating that problemtic mobile phone use have reaction inhibition defects.However,there was no significant difference between the mobile addiction group and the normal group.b.In the response and inhibition reactions,the mobile addiction group and the normal group performed better under the effective clues than under the invalid clues.This shows that both groups of subjects can use clues to carry out response inhibition behavior;c.The reaction and inhibition behavior of problemtic mobile phone use under the mobile phone image clues are significantly worse than neutral picture clues;d.Problemtic mobile phone use The response variability was higher than that of the normal subjects.The response variability of the two groups of subjects under the mobile phone-related picture was higher than that under the neutral picture.The inhibition performance of problemtic mobile phone use under mobile phone-related pictures is not only poorer,but also less stable in response.In summary,problemtic mobile phone use have inhibitory reactions and have different behaviors under different clue types.The future research should expand the scope of the test,adoptamore abundant experimental paradigm and add neuropsychologi-cal methods to expand research related to mobile phone addiction inhibition control.
