The Chinese sentence?is one type of sentence in Chinese that has special difficulties.Teaching Chinese sentence "? " is also the hardest points to be given to students who learn grammar as a second language.This article will discuss whether modern education technology can effectively help Indonesian students learn Chinese.Most of Indonesian students,the process of Chinese teaching leraning is adopting traditional teaching methods such as using blackboards and textbooks only,it does not use multimedia technology.So students do not get deeper understanding about what they have got from the learning process.Indonesian students,especially students in early stages,in learning Chinese sentence "?",are still influence by their mother tongue that is Indonesian for a temporary time.Therefore,it is often found that Indonesian students use Indonesian grammar in using Chinese sentence "?".Fact,it makes Indonesian students who learn Chinese are not able to achieve what they are desired and they will not get excellent result from the learning of Chinese sentence "?".With the development of modern education technology,multimedia technology has been widely used in the teaching of major subjects.However,from multimedia technology side point,there is only litlle research that use multimedia in learning process especially for sentence "?" in Chinese as a second language.This study will discuss if modern educational technology is availably assist Indonesian students in learning the main Chinese.This study combines the traditional learning style with the learning methods of new media.Furthermore,this study is also conducted to know how is the influence of learning Chinese to students who have different characteristic in learning sentence?",because this research is divided into two teaching methods,multimedia teaching methods and traditional teaching methods.According to the teaching process of experimental design,the author takes constructivism as the theoretical basis,and the multimedia theory is supported by the cognitive theory,and instructs the multimedia teaching in the form of PPT courseware.This study gives full contribution by the advantages of modern education technology and apply the teaching of "?" sentence in Chinese.Statistical data before and after the experiment are analyzed using SPSS software.The main purpose of this experiment is to prove that students of the same level have different degrees of mastery in the multimedia teaching method and the traditional Chinese language "?".The results of the study shows that multimedia teaching is better than traditional classroom when students learn Chinese sentence "?".Despite the average score of control class has also increased considerably from the previous scores,but the average scores obtained from experimental class is much better and there was no students got worse scores or no improvement at all.It showed that traditional teaching methods are not well apllied in learning Chinese sentences "?".Furthermore,experimental class showed that multimedia teaching methods is more conducive to improve learning Chinese for Indonesian students.In short,the application of multimedia technology in teaching has a significant effect,have more significance than just using the traditional teaching methods.The paper takes Chinese sentence?as an example,proves that the multimedia teaching has advantage in Chinese learning...
