An Individual Facing The End:A Study Of J.moltmann's Personal Eschatology

J.Moltmann was one of the most influential and academic Christian theologians and religious philosophers in the West in the twentieth Century.With the "final hope" as the starting point and direction of theology,he carried out an innovative theological study of the traditional Christianity.J.Moltmann's"theology of hope" is most known,especially his personal final theory is closely related to many social situation problems.This article is the interpretation of J.Moltmann's personal final theory from three different angles of death,immortality and practice.Personal end theory is the "ultimate thing" about the individual,that is,what death and after death.The ultimate fate of the individual has always been a matter of religious concern.The ultimate destiny of man is a very important part of human life.From the dialectics of life and death,J.Moltmann extends the practicality of people in this life.This way of thinking can help us understand the connotation,theoretical and practical significance of personal endings.J.Moltmann carried out theological analysis of personal death and death.He thinks that the idea of being alive but neglecting death,and the theory that death is not an event in life,is a lie of non religion.Only those who are close to death and experience from a person,really know what the new life,which can be in a more clear and perception of life and its unique beauty,which is the only way to truly understand the meaning of life?But it's more liberal theologians emphasize personal death only individual the death of the ego,and the redemption of Christ is the salvation of the individual soul,come to the kingdom of God is in a personal way to enter the individual soul.And J.Moltmann thinks that life comes to a person and gets his own new life from God,so that he can live a life.Since everyone can not exist alone,it is necessary to intersect with other people's fellowship to survive in society.Therefore,only the death and redemption of individual and the end and continuation of human history can be combined so that the truth of personal final can be truly mastered.But J.Moltmann did not stop there,he embarks from the personal terminal theory,further pointed out that connected with human history and the world system.The history of mankind has to rely on it to exist and continue.Without the destruction and creation of the world,there will be no basis for the end and continuity of human history.On the basis of this recognition,using personal terminal theory,historical eschatology and cosmic eschatology integration,in order to construct a complete Christian eschatology theology.His thought broke through the limitations and narrowness of liberal theology,and combined it with the end of the natural universe and the end of human history,and then made people's understanding of death enter a broader end theological perspective.When we observe J.Moltmann's theological thought,we can draw out the practicality of life from his dialectics of life and death.So his thought is a situation-oriented theology,which has always been closely linked to reality.J.Moltmann emphasized that the Christian theology should make some adjustments and innovations when facing the reality problems.This process highlights J.Moltmann'sadvocating that Christianity should also have the practice orientation to participate in the social transformation of mankind.Therefore,we need to deduce the realistic meaning of the personal final theory from the dimension of practice.Because the foundation of his "Hope" is the death and resurrection of Christ on the cross.This cross shows a different view of salvation from tradition,so it implies the meaning of practice and introspection.J.Moltmann moved from "hope of faith" to "hope of practice",which is the reflection of the deeper value of "Hope" thought."Hope" is the meaning of the world through the individual hope,hope and look forward to the end of history will be reflected.Therefore,when we discuss the practical dimension of personal endings,people need to discuss the choices that individuals face when facing the end from two different perspectives:personal and upper Empire,individual and history.This choice is not to let people escape from this life,or to keep us away from the responsibility that we should have for the society.On the contrary,it enables people to enter the world more actively and effectively live towards the end life.Of course,the practical dimension of Moltmann theology is still a lack of clear route and specific suggestions.The personal end theory can not contain all the human reality.In order to solve all the problems of the end of the individual,the common assistance of different disciplines is still needed.
