| With the continuous improvement of status and overall national strength in the international arena,China has attached even more importance to the strength of maritime defense.According to my own translation practice on CVN FLIGHT/HANGAR DECK NATOPS MANUAL,this translation practice report was written to analyze some ideas for the translation of noun phrases in scientific texts.The author analyzed and summarized some of noun phrases in the CVN FLIGHT/HANGAR DECK NATOPS MANUAL in this report.The author analyzed the translation method of noun phrases based on their characteristics and several classifications.Then the author proposes several translation strategies for the characteristics and expressions of noun phrases in science and technology texts.Finally,the report summarizes the achievements and disadvantages of the entire translation practice,and hope to provide some reference on noun phrase translation for other translators. |
