As a Jewish underground organization before Israel's independence,Irgun played an important role in the Jews' efforts to establish the Jewish state. The article elaborates on Irgun from the three aspects of Irgun's background, the development history of Irgun, and the evaluation of the influence of Irgun. The article is divided into three chapters:The first chapter introduces the historical background of the formation of Irgun. In the 19 th century, along with the spread of Zionist books and ideas, the Zionist movement has gradually developed and put Jewish immigrants into practice in Palestine. At that time,Palestine's appointed government-Britain,gradually turned support from the supporting of the Zionist movement, and because of the large number of Jewish immigrants, the conflict between Jews and local Arabs gradually escalated, and large-scale conflicts often broke out.In this context, the Jewish people's own armed forces were established.Yabotinsky established revisionism, and had an influence on some Haganah members. In 1931 Hagana B split from Hagana,it is the later Irgun. The second chapter introduces the development of Irgun. In the early days of Irgun's birth, the power was weak. The Arab uprising in 1936 caused disagreements within Irgun. In 1937,Terhom led some members of the Irgun back to Hagana.Irgun took the first split. The remaining Irgun members gradually formed their own policies and policies in the course of their actions. The Black Sunday incident marked that Irgun broke through the restraint policy and instead initiated active attacks. The first target focused on the appointment of the British government. The outbreak of World War II allowed Irgun to work side by side with the British to fight against Fascism. He advocated that the attack on Britain as the chief Stern led some members of Irgun to split from Irgun to Lech in 1940.Irgun went through The second split. In the Second World War,the Allies' s Victory has been set,and Irgun once again turned its main target on the fight against Britain. In 1947,Britain submitted the issue of Palestine to the United Nations.Irgun has implemented extreme measures and expulsions forArabs in order to expand territory. In 1948,the state of Israel was founded. After the "Altalie" incident,Irgun merged into the Israel Defense Forces and the era of independent military forces ended. The third chapter reviews Irgun.Irgun's longing for “Great Israel” and the idea of using any means to build a Jewish state doomed Irgun to adopt an extreme approach in order to achieve his goals, thus the Arab-Israeli uses extreme actions for opening up Pandora's box.Irgun defended Jewish settlements during Israel's founding, promoted Jewish immigration, played a role as a righteous party in the war against fascism, and its attacks on the British and Arabs promoted the establishment of the Israeli state. After the establishment of Israel, members of Irgun also played a role in Israel's politics. However,Irgun's extreme attacks on Britain brought it a huge loss of human and financial resources, which made the prestige of the United Kingdom drop.In addition,Irgun's violence against the Arabs not only caused them catastrophic consequences, but also led to the emergence of Arab refugees that troubled the world. In summary, the study of Irgun will help us understand the development history of Zionism, the historical reasons for the Arab-Israeli conflict and the process of the establishment of the Israeli state.
