The folk culture of Shaanxi is diverse,and the folk activities and folk art in southern,northern and Guanzhong are distinct and regional.Hancheng is located in the eastern gateway of Guanzhong Plain of Shaanxi Province,and its economy and culture occupy an important position in Shaanxi.Hancheng was named by the Ministry of Culture as the famous city of Chinese history and culture,the hometown of Chinese folk(drum)art,the hometown of Chinese gongs and drums,and so on.There are many kinds of gongs and drums in the folk activities of Hancheng,and the wide appeal of the masses occupies the forefront of the gongs and drums in all regions of the country.It can be said that the gongs and drums are the basis of the cultural life of the masses in Hancheng,and they are also the important folk cultural images set up by Hancheng in the outside world.For thousands of years,Hancheng Drum,the Yellow River Zhengu,and Hancheng Weigu,which have been handed down from generation to generation in the rural areas of Hancheng,are deeply loved by the people of Hancheng,which is an indispensable part of the local traditional folk life.The study of Hancheng gongs and drums has important academic significance in sociology,folklore and history.Since the 1980 s,local cultural departments have provided professional support and guidance to the inheritance and excavation of gongs and drums in Hancheng,and grass-roots writers and artists have organized a large number of visits to folk artists by professional art practitioners.The collection and arrangement of Luo Drum,which spread in the folk,and the professional records of the gongs and drums spread from word to word laid the foundation for the modern inheritance and development of the gongs and drums in Hancheng.According to the preliminary data,at present,there is no specialized and systematic study on Hancheng undefineds gongs and drums.Most of the people who pay attention to the collection and arrangement of Hancheng gongs and drums undefined folk gongs and drums and the study of music ontology are local Hancheng folk entertainers and literary and artistic practitioners.From the perspective of art folklore,this paper analyzes the origin of Hancheng gongs and drums,the artistic characteristics of different kinds of gongs and drums in Hancheng by means of literature collection and field investigation.Hancheng gongs and drums can inherit and develop the folklore environment change and the current transformation of Hancheng gongs and drums to explore.It leads to the reflection on thevariation of the folklore shell and the industrialization of folk art in Hancheng,and attempts to transcend the previous study of folk art,which only pays attention to the music itself and does not attach importance to the development and variation of the folk art and the current situation of transformation.Hancheng gongs and drums and their participation in folklore activities as a cultural whole to be studied.Starting with the changes of folk activities and rural folk culture,this paper probes into the variation of Hancheng gongs and drums in the background of modern society,and further probes into the relevant problems of the industrialization of Hancheng gongs and drums marketization.
