A Study On Zhu Lizhi's Finacial Thinking And Practice In The War Of Resistance Against Japan

Zhu Lizhi was an old-generation proletarian revolutionary who came out from Tsinghua University and was one of the early financiers of the CCP.After the Southern Anhui Incident,the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region fell into a military siege and economic blockade of the Kuomintang die-hards,and its economic situation was extremely severe.In March 1941,Zhu Lizhi was appointed as the president of the Bank of the Border Region to manage the financial work there.Within two years,the financial work of the Border Region has achieved outstanding results under his leadership.Confronted with the grim economic situation of the Border Region,Zhu Lizhi conducted serious investigations,careful consideration,and in-depth analysis of the financial problems under the guidance of Marxist financial theory.His own financial thinking about the Border Currency and the Border Bank was formed.Through his unremitting efforts,he successfully issued a banknote in an order manner.On this basis,he stabilized the prices and exchange rates,realized the stability of the financial order;he made the Border Bank play the role of a national bank,preliminarily constructed a financial network with a certain modern significance.He also promoted the improvement of the monetary policy which takes the war of resistance against Japan as the center,and provided a material basis for the victory of the war as well.Although there were some deficiencies in the financial thinking and practice of Zhu Lizhi,it had made outstanding contributions to CCP' s financial work and had great historical significance.This article pays special attention to analyzing the influence of the era backgrounds on Zhu Lizhi's financial thinking,and focuses on analyzing the financial struggles among Japan,KMT die-hards and the Border Region,trying to illustrate that Zhu Lizhi's financial practice is a process of interaction with the environment.This article mainly adopts Literature Research Method and Cross-Discipline Research Method,maximizing the utilize of the related in-store archives,newspapers of ROC era and other materials on the basis of existing researches.Trying to make a comprehensive,meticulous,in-depth discussion about the financial thinking and practical work of Zhu Lizhi in the war of resistance against Japan from the following aspects:First,expound the historical backgrounds and main sources of Zhu Lizhi's financial thinking in the period of Anti-Japanese War.This part mainly analyzes the historical backgrounds of Zhu Lizhi's financial thinking from two aspects:the macroeconomic environment of the Anti-Japanese War and the microenvironment of the severe economic situation of the Border Region.Meanwhile expound the sources of Zhu Lizhi's financial thinking from two aspects:the theoretical source-Marxist financial theory,and practical source-the practical explorations of the CCP's early financial work.Second,discuss the main contents and practice of Zhu Lizhi's financial thinking in the war of resistance against Japan.In this part,Zhu Lizhi' s financial thinking in the the war of resistance against Japan are divided into two aspects:his monetary thinking and bank thinking.Under the guidance of these two financial thinking,Zhu Lizhi carried out the financial practice of stabilizing the value of the border currency,building the Border Bank and stabilizing the financial order according to the investigation and researches on the specific financial problems.These are also respectively expounded in this part.Third,make an objective evaluation of Zhu Ruizhi' s financial thinking and practice in the war of resistance against Japan.Its important historical significances are interpreted in this part from the aspects of promoting the production of border region,stabilizing financial-order-of border-region,_and_safeguarding-border_region.from_the war_of resistance against Japan;Its practical implications for current financial construction are also analyzed from the perspectives of banking system,monetary policies,and financial strategies.In addition,the limitations of Zhu Lizhi's financial thinking and the mistakes in his financial work are expounded objectively as well.
