The continuous advancement of information technology has changed people's contemporary life.The development of information technology has also facilitated the development of education.Various countries have started to develop ICT in education,which has led to the updating of educational concepts and the transformation of educational models.As a new model of education,the appearance of flipped classrooms caters to the trend of educational informatization and arouses widespread attention from scholars at home and abroad.Flipped classroom changes the order of teaching in traditional classrooms.Students need to study independently before class.To complete the learning task,this model focuses on the difference of students,pays attention to individualized teaching,and satisfies the individual needs of the students.On the other hand,it emphasizes the student-centered teaching philosophy,which changes the passive learning situation of students in traditional teaching classroom and effectively promotes the interaction between teachers and students.In recent years,with the development of digital campus construction and the advent of the MOOC era,many primary and secondary schools in China have begun trials of flipped classroom one after another.Under the wave of Internet+,various kinds of educational company started to research and develop learning management system and APPs,which provided a technical foundation for turning the implementation of the classroom.This study firstly clarifies the background,purpose,and significance of the research,analyzes the domestic and foreign status of flipping classrooms through literature research,determines the main content and research methods of the study,then sorts out and analyzes the related theories that the research follows and defined some basic concepts.Taking the fifth grade English listening course as an example,combined with the specific characteristics of the curriculum and learners' learning characteristics,curriculum objectives,and course content,the study try to design the flipped classroom teaching model of English listening course in primary school under the guidance of relevant theories.Finally,a quasi-experimental study was conducted and the results of the experiment were analyzed through questionnaires,interviews,and other research methods.The conclusions were drawn to verify the validity of the flipped classroom teaching model which can be applied to English listening learning and provide reference for further research.
